Abstract :
Slow light in photonic crystal waveguides offers field and phase enhancement for photonic functionality. We demonstrate broadband operation (2.5 THz) of slow light devices and low loss (4 dB/cm) propagation of e-beam and DUV fabricated structures and discuss their dependence on disorder.
