            Abstract : 
A family of quartz-crystal-based oscillators using a 1.5-μm CMOS technology oscillator chip and rectangular AT-cut resonator is described. Compactness is achieved by the use of a custom ceramic package. A voltage-controllable crystal oscillator requires no additional components since the varactor is integrated on the CMOS chip. This arrangement provides a highly reliable device and the smallest VCXO package available to date
