Abstract
A QoS scheduling algorithm for optical burst switching (OBS) nodes with fiber delay lines (FDL) is proposed. Better differentiation of services can be achieved. Burst loss probability for different service classes can be controlled by selective use of FDL. Simulation results show the better performance of our proposed scheduling algorithm within OBS networks in terms of burst loss probability.
