Abstract
Cognitive Information Processing has never been more relevant. Progress in science and society at large is increasingly dependent on our understanding of the complex cognitive processes that emerge at the interface between computers and machines. It is therefore a great pleasure to welcome you to the 4th International Workshop Cognitive Information Processing 2014 in Copenhagen, to share and celebrate new advances in this exciting field. Following the previous successful workshops in Baiona, Spain; Elba Island, Italy; and Santorini, Greece, the Copenhagen experience will be on the island of Amager. More precisely at the Bella Sky Hotel which rises as two leaning towers - an interesting and original architectural landmark.
