The competition of modern enterprises is mainly driven by soft-competitiveness. How to enhance the soft-competitiveness to gain competitive advantage is the common concern of many enterprises. In this paper, soft-competitiveness is discussed from the perspective of enterprise social responsibility and the role of social responsibility to the enterprise soft-competitiveness is stressed. Firstly, the concept of enterprise soft-competitiveness is discussed. Secondly, the effect of enterprise social responsibility to soft-competitiveness is analyzed. Finally, the measures of soft-competitiveness improvement are proposed. In short, some basic elements of social responsibility, including to strengthen social responsibility consciousness, to develop social responsibility strategies, to improve social responsibility business operation, to consider external environmental of social responsibility, are used to build long-term competitive advantages of enterprises. So, this paper shows a new idea to improve the enterprise soft-competitiveness by introducing the concept of social responsibility. It would play an important role in sustainable development to the enterprise, as well as the industry.
