Abstract :
Quadruple tank process is built in lab which is multivariable nonlinear zero-adjustable typical process model. Networked control system for it is also constructed consisted of engineering station and optimization station in which matlab/simulink computation engine is located in so that the model based control algorithm prototype for quadruple tank system can be run in real-time with the help of Net-OPC technology and real-time schedule technology. Two multivariable model based control scheme for quadruple tank is studied. MIMO model predictive and network based H infinite multivariable tracking controller considering the network induced delay characteristics are developed for quadruple tank in matlab/simulink and run in real-time. Experiments results demonstrate the effect of the multivariable control algorithm.
