Abstract :
This paper deals with a current-fed full bridge dc-dc converter. By the results of an analytical investigation, the impact of the transformer´s winding ratio, its leakage inductance and dimension of input inductor on the converter´s efficiency is emphasized. Out of this, design considerations for the converter are given. Experimental results, taken from a 1.2 kW prototype, are shown.
