Abstract
In this paper, Rectangular patch with circular half geometry design is proposed. The proposed design has operate at dual band of frequency 2.7-2.9 GHz and 7.8-8.5 GHz. The proposed design can be used in the military for meterological purpose and satellite communications. The proposed design is fabricated on RTduroid/5880 with relative permittivity 2.2 and having dimension 42× 42×32mm3. To get the proper impedance matching of 50Ω, coaxial feed line is used. The proposed design has return loss -18.31dB and -23.31dB in frequency band 2.7-2.9Ghz and 7.8-8.5Ghz. Radiation pattern of proposed design in E-plane and Hplane is acceptable. The proposed design is simulated using High Frequency structure simulator.
