Abstract :
Using results on H output estimation theory this paper deals with the problem of designing robust detection filters in a continuous time setting for detecting failures in uncertain dynamical systems where methods for decoupling of the fault effects from system perturbations are not available. Through the appropriate choice of the filter gain a tradeoff is made between the effect of worst-case disturbance and L2 norm of the filter error
