Abstract :
The benefits and challenges offered to account management by intelligent networking are examined. In the context of this work, account management consists of the generation, collection, and processing of usage measurements (e.g., automatic message accounting records). These measurements allow for billing usage-sensitive services and/or studying subscriber activity. The effect of intelligent networking on account management is discussed
