Abstract :
Unified operation requires that an information model be defined systematically and that each operation system (OpS) communicate with other OpSs by translating its own local schema into a unified schema, and vice versa. A unified information model for service operation and the mechanism that translates a source schema into a target schema are presented. By evaluating the overhead needed for schema translation, it is shown that the proposed method effectively achieves unified operation
