Abstract :
This paper presents a new TOA/RSS hybrid location tracking algorithm for a partial synchronized wireless sensor network, which use: (1) both TOA and RSS measurements to give better tracking accuracy, and (2) particle filter to deal with the nonlinear system model, which can approximate the optimal Bayesian estimate. Numerical simulations show that the new algorithm has better performance and robustness with relatively low-cost network.
