Abstract :
An analytic magnetic field calculation method based on scalar magnetic potential of tubular reference frame with Schwarz-Christoffel Transform is introduced, which is a new research method to work on the axial magnetized tubular permanent magnet linear synchronous motor. Due to this method, an elaborate academic analysis to magnetic field distribution of slotless motor is conducted; the computational analysis results are given as well. Meanwhile, Finite element analysis method is used to testify the magnetic field distribution of slotless motor. The verification shows that there is almost no difference in the error results of narrow airspace and wider one, while in wider airspace, the computational analytic value equals to the middle winding flux density. So the validity and practicability have been verified. In the end, the prototype is shown as well as its working results. And the measurement of the motor magnetic field is well coherent to the analysis results.
