Abstract :
This paper investigates the problem of controllability analysis for linear singular delta operator systems. Firstly, the delta operator model is set up for a linear singular continuous system, which is obtained from a suitable discrete model of the continuous system. It is shown that when the sampling period tends to zero, the delta operator model tends to the corresponding continuous system. Then, based on the relation between the discrete and delta operator models, various conditions are derived to judge whether a linear singular delta operator system is controllable, R-controllable and Y-controllable or not. Finally, some numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the theoretical results presented in this paper.
