Abstract :
A simulator for studying jammerpsilas disturbance to passive broadband sonar is introduced. Its architecture is described. The architecture consists of four stages: signal generation, conventional beamforming, beam power accumulation and bearing time history display. Basic design decisions of each stage are discussed in detail. An example is then given to demonstrate the simulatorpsilas function. Finally, concluding remarks are also given.
