Abstract :
In this paper a new system for the remote control of distributed measurement instruments is proposed. In this system a master PC can display, through a customized browser, the front panels of remote virtual instruments (slaves) resident on PCs, connected through Internet. Furthermore a chat room has been implemented to make easier the communication among the controller and remote users.
