Abstract :
Results are reported of a simulation study undertaken to determine the performance of a satellite onboard group demodulator for QPSK/FDMA signals (quadrature phase-shift keying/frequency-division multiple-access) when the signals are given in terms of Eb /N0 degradation versus channel spacing and filter order for nonlinear channels operating at saturation. The multistage transmultiplexer is also ideally suited to the demultiplexing of signals of differing bandwidths. Results are given where the group contains signals that are two and four times the basic signaling rate
