This article regresses the data of settlement and litigation from a Life Insurance Stock Company Limited in Beijing during the period of 2005–2008, finding that the insurer´s indemnities adjudicated by a judge is far less than the amounts offered by a policyholder, being little correlated with amounts offered by a policyholder while related strongly to indemnities accepted by an insurer. District and grade influnence notably the correlation between an insurer´s indemnities or costs adjudicated by a judge and amounts offered by a policyholder. Grade and classification affect remarkably the interrelation between an insurer´s costs adjudicated by a judge and indemnities accepted by itself.
