Abstract :
A derivative PWM control method with constant switching frequency strong against incoming switching noise is proposed. The triangular voltage obtained from a simple RC network as a comparator input is employed to determine the duty ratio and an external clock signal is used to fix the switching frequency. Applying the proposed method to the buck converter, excellent dynamic performances and stable switching action are realized.
