Abstract :
Line-current harmonics and grid stability are major concerns for the control of a traction vehicle line-side converter. To achieve best dynamic performance the resonant circuit taking up the single-phase power pulsation has to be considered. This paper describes the derivation of a linear-quadratic (LQ)-optimized multivariable control fulfilling these requirements. Excellent operation is verified by measurement results.
