Abstract :
Calculation of the transient process in power systems, using differential equations to describe turbogenerators and their regulators and algebraic equations to describe networks, are often made. Combining these equation systems may not be trivial. Usage of the linearization method for integration of the equation system simplifies the problem. This article outlines the approach to calculation of the transient process in the power system when the linearization method is used
