Abstract
The authors develop and examine a noninvasive method for temperature measurement using ultrasound textural parameters. These parameters are calculated for liver images at different temperatures using an in vivo experimental setup. Another study is performed on humans at different core temperatures. Both studies demonstrate a discriminative ability of 2.5°C
