Abstract :
This paper describes a 14b 3.0/6.0GS/S DAC implemented in 0.18μm CMOS capable of directly synthesizing multi-carrier standards directly at RF frequencies, as well as the 1GHz broadband cable spectrum. Modifications are made to the quad switch structure to support higher-speed operation and improve dynamic performance.
