Abstract :
Chinese aviation industry embraces a new age after localization reform. This paper analyzes the efficiency change of 30 civil airports using DEA. It has found that most of the operations are invalid though the efficiency has improved since 2006. We also predict the inputs of airports in 2012, which lead to the best performance. For some airports with low efficiency, the inputs must be reduced to improve the aggregated technical efficiency. Otherwise they can only be wasted.
