Abstract :
E-Mobility still has to be seen as a hype, characterized by only few profitable products but high expectations for its future development. However, the solutions that are currently developed will be the base for economic success in three to five years. Although many use cases and business models are already discussed in literature, a clear distinction of use case types is missing. Those use case types are needed for the precision of business models and the analysis of reasonable support by Information and Communication Technology (ICT), for example by a comprehensive Information System Architecture (ISA). Therefore, this paper proposes a holistic morphology for the integration of EV into the power grid out of which two use case types are instantiated. These types show the requirement for communication with and for Electric Vehicles (EV), e.g. with respect to E-Mobility roaming. Finally, the relevant communication scenarios for E-Roaming are described and communication is discussed with respect to intelligent charging.
