Abstract :
Prediction of distortion effects is an important aspect in high frequency systems design. In this paper, we present a method which minimizes the intermodulation products of transistors. Based on the characteristic surface method the technique consists to determine the optimum harmonic loads for the active elements and then, using Volterra series, to minimize the intermodulation powers. The validity of the proposed method was confirmed by comparing the computed values with these presented in technical literature
