Abstract :
3D world modeling is an important issue for a long time. For this, various sensors like a laser scanner and a camera are used. The calibration process is needed to set only one absolute axis between those sensors. In this paper, we present improved calibration between a laser scanner and a camera using PCA method. Next important thing is to know vehicle´s pose and orientation. With this whole algorithm, our approach leads to improve 3D world modeling.
