Abstract :
A set of generic analysis activities for evaluating the interoperable aspects of a National ISDN-1 (NI-1)-capable switching system, including references to Bellcore´s 1992 HI-1 technical analysis activities to be executed at the Bellcore laboratories and the Bell Atlantic Multivendor Field Interoperability Test (MVFIT) sites, is described. The topics covered include switch-to-switch differential testing; end-to-end ISDN service dependencies; local exchange carrier interworking; IEC interworking; performance analysis; operations, administration, and maintenance; live switch access testing of ISDN end-user equipment; and applications analysis
