Abstract :
During last decades, micro-electronic domain was considerably developed, in order to answer to the growing need of some new multimedia applications. Moreover, we meet an enormous number off difficulties, when we want to surmount communication problems and complex protocols in order to reach efficient communication systems. For some applications, interconnecting different networks is needed. That´s why, we present an experimental platform that implements an interface communication system. This platform is developed in order to support high bandwidth and real-time applications. In front of the compatibility problems of protocols, transmission speed and access mode of different networks, this paper introduces implementation architecture and its specification processes. These processes specify a system capable of interconnecting networks. This system must route and will relieve the traffic between two networks in real time without slowing the activity of these networks. It makes possible for users to interact with multimedia application over networks
