Abstract
In this paper, we analyze a version of the dynamic lot sizing (DLS) problem for the durable products with end-of-use constraints. First, We formulate it mathematically, then some properties are derived to construct the structure of the optimal solution. Next, based on the properties, we propose an optimization algorithm recursively. Moreover, we design an approximation algorithm from the optimization algorithm, with the linear computational complexity. Finally, conclusion and remarks are given to show the future works
