Abstract :
For many years the health system has been involved in changes focused on the patient. A recent law stated that patients must be informed to take part in medical decisions. Generally, the medical staff and the patients share medical knowledge; in this study our question is how and why to share the experience with the patient. Our work concerns the identification of empowerment criterions; it has been carried out with cancer patients treated by chemotherapy. The objective was to show the interest of a holonic approach for characterizing how to care for the patient. We want to define a physical and information model from this holonic approach of the empowerment of the patient
