Abstract :
In this paper, the reliability analysis of autopilot for airplane is presented. Using the Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis, the failure mode of the airplane´s autopilot and the effects of each failure mode on the autopilot of airplane are analyzed in the case of holding flight gesture. Using the Fault Tree Analysis, the fault tree of the airplane´s autopilot is obtained in the cases of maintaining the stability of pitching angle and controlling rise or fall of airplane. By the results of analysis, the reason of causing faults, the effect degree of faults and the way of checking faults are opened out.
