Abstract
Emission of nitric oxides is one of the important anthropogenic factor acting on the environment, To introduce effective methods of an increase of nitric oxides formation it is necessary to develop the methods of mathematical simulation of nitrogen-containing fuel burning. Simplified kinetic models for NOx formation calculation is of great interest. They are based on global (generalized) chemical reactions. Generalized models are well joined with two-dimensional and three-dimensional gas dynamic models of the furnaces calculation. Therefore they can serve as effective tools for investigations. In the paper mathematical simulation of the nitric oxides formation in burning powder-like nitrogen-containing fuel in the furnaces of the industrial boilers is performed.
