Abstract :
An alternate circuit-theoretic proof is presented for Kharitonov´s theorem on the zero distribution of interval polynomials. The proof is based on the Foster expansion of reactance functions and the requirement that the value of the reactive elements be positive. The real and complex polynomial cases are considered separately
