  • Abstract
Biological mediums have both the conductor and the dielectrics properties. Free ions availability in the cells and tissue is due to the conductivity of these mediums. Dielectric properties of biological mediums and the value of dielectric permittivity are determined by the structural components and the phenomenon of polarity. Currently, in studying the processes occurring in the cells and tissue, in changing their physiological state as well as in investigating pathologic sates of biological mediums such diagnostic indexes as specific conductivity σ and dielectric permittivity ε are used. To determine these indexes the eddy current methods are used, which are characterized by high information density, safety and simplicity of realization. The given paper is aimed at the performance of theoretical investigations of the action of the specific conductivity and relative dielectric permittivity of biological medium on the insertion voltage of the eddy current converter (ECC).
