Abstract :
In this paper, we report the fabrication and successful testing of the flat plasma light source by discharging gas at carbon nanotubes (CNT) tips. The sharp tips of carbon nanotubes generate very high electric fields at relatively low voltages which lowering the plasma ignition voltages (320 V) in comparison to traditional electrodes (1100 V).
