Abstract :
The authors describe a computation scheme called shooting and bouncing rays (SBR). SBR is coupled with a CAD (computer-aided design) package and applied to open-region problems. Several examples are given, including the computation of the radar cross section (RCS) of a trihedral corner reflector and a truncated elliptical core.<>
