An application-oriented e-business majored talents training mode is discussed in this paper based on an experiment. It is reported that the skills of graduates can hardly meet the demand of the enterprises. The higher education must be improved and reformed in strengthening the training of application-oriented talent. In order to enhance the students´ operative ability, a substantial mode is established and put into use. The experiment based on taobao.com is implemented and discussed in this paper, including its condition, procedure and effect. In compared with merely learning knowledge from textbooks, it is no doubt that this mode is a rather feasible way to put theory into practice.
