Abstract :
The CONDENSATION algorithm has attracted as it has robust tracking performance. Since the advantage of the condensation algorithm is that it is able to propagate the probability densities of many states in the search space, it is particularly useful for multiple tracking problems. However CONDENSATION still has difficulty with initialization, occlusion and real-time implementation for multiple people. This paper presents a propagation controlling method with color histogram for tracking which solves multiple objects occlusions problem and reduces particle number. Another important contribution of the paper is the presentation of reinitialization mechanism which solves the total occlusion and mismatching.
