Abstract :
A measuring and training system for harmonics had been developed, which is used for students´ education as well as for technical measurement in power systems. The technical installations include equipment generating harmonics, a computer-based system for measurement, statistical evaluation, modules for assessment of harmonics and their effects on power system installations as well as an exercise and training programme which is well suitable for self-learning and distant learning through intranet or by the student´s own home computer.
