  • Abstract
To improve reporting compliance of the Austrian pacemaker registry we have restructured the former national pacemaker registry, which has been in operation since 1980. A complementary software tool keeps records from implanting centers and the national registry is synchronized. Data quality is assured through standard field sets and reference files. Entry software provides centers with historic data, prints PM-registration cards and takes care of clinical followup. The database is available for PC-computer-platforms
