Abstract
The analysis of the ventricular late potentials has been considered a valuable diagnostic tool for stratification of patients at risk of life threatening arrhythmia. This study proposes a new technique for averaging and analysis of conventional orthogonal bipolar-three lead surface EGG, based on the weighted coherent averaging of heart beats using the EMG region energy of the power spectrum. The results of the ECG of fourteen patients bearing Chagas´ Disease, Ischemic Heart Disease and HIV infection are similar to those obtained by a commercial system with the advantage of achieving a lower level of the final noise with the same number of signals
