Abstract :
In this paper, modifications of spectral coherence for ventricular fibrillation (VF) in the isolated rabbit heart are investigated under coronary perfusion, ventricular dilatation, and the administration of antiarrhythmic drugs (verapamil). Obtained results for the mean magnitude-squared coherence function (MMSC) show that: (i) it decreases during dilatation, and increases in post-dilatation; (ii) the verapamil increases MMSC, but partially counteracts the increment induced by post-dilatation
