Abstract :
According to the results of the investigations performed one can conclude that on the surface of the loaded samples VT1-0 with submicrocrystalline structure in the thin near-surface layer or throughout the material volume the meso- and macrobands of local plastic deformation are observed. Hydrogen treatment does not change the meso- and macrobands dimensions and shape. At the same time hydrogen pickup of the thin near-surface layer acts on the character of their extension causing a strong change of mechanical characteristics.
