  • Abstract
This student paper is the result of preliminary studies on the topic of different ways of voice alteration and their analysis. It is based on the author´s experience derived from applying for voice acting roles of various characters, as well as author´s study and observation of his own voice and voices of his colleagues in the voice-over industry. First the author will supply a necessary theoretical background, then he follows with a number of observations on how the use of certain vocal techniques can produce different effects perceived by the recipients. The paper is concluded with a basic analysis of five examples of different voices created by the author.
