Abstract :
The synthesis of implementable control algorithms for electromechanical systems with incompletely measurable state variables is discussed. The design of a model reference adaptive control system based on signal synthesis is described. Mathematically, the procedure is based on Lyapunov´s second method. The structure of adaptive controllers tested in industrial electromechanical systems is presented, and the results obtained with adaptive controllers in direct current motor drives are discussed
