    Summary from only given, as follows. In this paper a coordinate transformation which permits to reduce or to increase the regions dimensions in a FEM analysis is proposed. It is possible to obtain transformed regions with similar dimensions and thus a more uniform density in the mesh generated. The excitation malnetic circuit of a DC machine is presented as an example.
