Abstract :
Summary from only given, as follows. In this paper the electromagnetic field problem coupled with mechanical systems is discussed. The coupled computation for field, electromagnetic forces and stress on the and windings of a 300 MW turbo generator under transient state and variable operating conditions are taken as examples and described. The complete procedure for the determination of forces due to transient current and fields in the end zone is presented. The software methodology of computer graphics, etc., are explored.
