After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

The deregulation of electricity market all over the world provides expansive space and abundant opportunity for the theory research in this field. Recently, a considerable amount of research has studied the competition and cooperation among the participants in electricity market, and these researches put forward many diverse opinions from different aspects. This paper reviews recent research systematically, and summarizes the representative standpoints, in order to pave the way to research the competition and cooperation among the participants in electricity market.
