Abstract
An analytic hierarchy process (AHP) approach that can be used either for the analysis and comparison of the quality of several telecommunications companies or for the evaluation of alternate technologies in telecommunications is presented. The method is based on pairwise comparison between several factors that affect the quality of service in a hierarchical structure. A particular formulation is presented and discussed extensively
